Mohd Shaharuddin Abdul Latiff is a HSE Consultant and Industrial Hygienist with more than 10 years of working experience. He specializes in providing training and consultancy services in industrial safety, industrial hygiene and environmental to various type of industries. Among industries Shaharuddin had experience working are petrochemicals plants, chemical specialty plant, plastic industry, automotive, pulp & paper, woodworking industries, electroplating and electronic plant, steelmaking industries, food & beverage industries, paint manufacturing, metalwork companies, wastewater treatment plant and construction sites.

He frequently invited to give lectures at University Kuala Lumpur on topics concerning HSE. He also a co-supervisor for Joint R&D programs in industrial hygiene, safety engineering and environmental protection with UiTM Shah Alam.

Shaharuddin is a registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH and Radiation Protection Officer with AELB. He is also registered Assessor for Chemical Health Risk Assessment and Industrial Hygiene Technician for both fields; testing and examination of Local Exhaust Ventilation and Chemical Exposure Monitoring. He had conducted great numbers of assessment and monitoring projects experience throughout Malaysia.

As trainer, Shaharuddin has been actively conducting various training on OSH&E. He has vast experience in conducting training and providing consultancy to guide companies in implementing ISO 14001 EMS and OHSAS 18001 for various types of industries.

Academically, Shaharuddin holds Diploma in Industrial Chemistry from UiTM. He also holds Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Wales, UK and Master of Environmental Science from UPM. He also holds Certificate in Safety and Health Officer from NIOSH.
